I am not precious. I am not delicate. My experience with violence against my sex does not make me who I am. Just because I don’t want to be yelled at by the guy on the street doesn’t mean I don’t want to feel your desire. I will draw boundaries when I feel they need to be drawn and when I do I expect you to respect those boundries. I am a human, a person, not someone for you to save. I’ll take your respect, you can keep your protection.
